The University of Brighton invites applications from highly motivated researchers to work on a project that aims to make ontologies accessible to a wide range of stakeholders through visualisation. This EPSRC-funded project, titled "Visual Justifications for Ontologies" (EP/M016323/1), will also involve collaboration with Nokia Networks in Finland. The successful applicant will have (or be close to attaining) a PhD or equivalent level of professional research experience in computer science (or a related discipline), a record of quality research publications, skills applicable to at least one of diagrammatic logic, visualisation or empirical computer science.
