We are seeking a new PhD student for the Fall of 2018 working on the Natural Visualization project, supported by the U.S. NSF. The project will explore multimodal interaction (speech, touch, etc.) with data visualizations. Qualified candidates should have course and project experience in Human-Computer Interaction and be competent developers in web systems programming and D3. An ideal candidate also will have interest and experience in designing and developing multimodal interaction applications.
