
Rice University (in Houston, TX) is hiring a lecturer to teach 4-5 sections of an undergraduate "intro to data visualization" course that is part of Rice's new interdisciplinary minor in data science. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible lectureship that comes with a one-year contract that will be extended to regular three-year contracts in subsequent years, depending on teaching performance. This is a stable, fully funded position in a growing program. The position itself will be housed in the Program in Writing and Communication, which is a campus-wide program serving undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty.
