I would like to encourage you to consider contributing a paper to the "Special Issue on Digital Libraries, Epigraphy, and Paleography: Bringing Records from the Distant Past to the Present" (see attached) in the areas of Applications of computer vision, computer graphics, and information visualization tools for rendering inscribed artifacts In particular, contributions describing existing efforts and research issues in capturing and making accessible cultural heritage in Asia (near and far), Africa, Australia and South America would be most welcome.
