Previous PacificVis symposia were held in - *Kyoto (2008), Beijing (2009), Taipei (2010), Hong Kong (2011), Songdo (2012), Sydney (2013), Yokohama (2014), Zhejiang (2015), and Taipei (2016)* all sponsored by IEEE VGTC. *Location and Dates* The 10th PacificVis will be held at *Hoam Faculty House, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea* during *April 18 to 21, 2017*. You can access the additional information for each speech through the links below. *Day1 : Changing the World with Visual Analytics <http://pacificvis.snu.ac.kr/keynotes/1> * *David Elbert (Purdue University)* *Bio.* David Ebert is the Silicon Valley Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, a Fellow of the IEEE, and director of the Visual Analytics for Command Control and Interoperability Center (VACCINE), the Visualization Science team of the Department of Homeland Security’s Command Control and Interoperability Center of Excellence. Ebert performs research in visual analytics, volume rendering, illustrative visualization, and procedural abstraction of complex, massive data. He is the recipient of the 2017 IEEE Computer Society vgTC Technical Achievement Award for seminal contributions in visual analytics.
