
We are currently looking to fill 3 PhD positions at the Visualization Research Center at the University of Stuttgart (VISUS), Germany: PhD Research Position in Computer Science (f/m/d) (German Federal pay scale TV-L 13, full-time, temporary) Earliest starting date is Nov 1, 2021, or by agreement. All positions are in the field of Visualization and Human-Computer Interaction. The topics are: ---------------------------------------------------------- Topic 1: Eye Tracking for Architectural Design and Construction ---------------------------------------------------------- This position will be supervised by Dr. Kuno Kurzhals, and is associated with the cluster of excellence "Integrative Computational Design and Construction for Architecture (IntCDC)": https://www.intcdc.uni-stuttgart.de/. ---------------------------------------------------------- Topic 2: Visual Analytics for Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) ---------------------------------------------------------- This position will be supervised by Prof. Dr. Michael Sedlmair, and will be part of collaborative project with the Software Engineering group, led by Prof. Dr. Stefan Wagner. ---------------------------------------------------------- Topic 3: Interactive Visualization (Open Topic) ---------------------------------------------------------- This position will be supervised by Prof. Dr. Daniel Weiskopf. The topic will be from the broader field of interactive visualization, and it will be chosen in coordination with the successful applicant.
