Recruiting Data Visualization Designers for Interview Study
Good day, Are you interested in contributing to cutting-edge research on understanding the practices of visualization creators? Then this email is for you! We are conducting a study (IRB-SBS 8062) on understanding the tradeoffs that occur during the design process and how designers navigate them. We are seeking participants for a 90-minute interview study (no more than 2 hours). During this session, you will be asked to answer a few questions about your design practices. Interviews will be held remotely on Zoom, and you will be interviewed only once. This is an opportunity to be an active contributor to current and future data science research. Participation is completely voluntary. Personal demographic data and answers to interview questions will be collected and shared after being anonymized. To participate in this study, you must meet the following criteria: 1) Be at least 18 years old 2) Be a U.S. Resident 3) Have at least 3 years of professional experience designing and/or creating visualizations If you are deemed eligible and are selected to participate in the interview study, you will be compensated with a $20 gift card upon completion of the interview study.
