Dear colleagues, We are excited to announce the VISxGenAI Workshop at IEEE VIS 2025 and invite your participation! # How to participate We welcome contributions through two tracks: 1. Short Papers (2–4 pages) Submit work-in-progress ideas, early research results, or position pieces related to GenAI, agents, and VIS. 2. Mini-Challenge For the first time, we're hosting a challenge where participants build AI agents that autonomously analyze datasets and generate visual reports (PDF or interactive webpage)—inspired by benchmarks like ImageNet. - A starter kit and evaluation server are provided. - Winners will receive $thousands in unrestricted cloud credits (sponsored by AWS Generative AI Innovation Center), award certificates, and the opportunity to present at the workshop. - A great opportunity for senior undergrads, master's, and PhD students interested in AI agents, data VIS, and potential internships at AWS. # Deadline: August 20, 2025 # Workshop Info: https://visxgenai.github.io # Challenge Info: https://www.visagent.org/ We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this with your students and colleagues.
