Open Access: Free publication for well-prepared manuscripts submitted before 1 July 2019 Rapidly increasing global consumption of natural resources demands for more efficient use, as well as for more sustainable management of energy, water, minerals, land and other natural resources. Human-centred technologies, tools and services can provide effective solutions to support sustainability in different domains. To create better awareness, and support human decision making, such technologies, tools and services should provide advanced interactive visualization capabilities to their users to allow them to monitor, manage, compare, or share and use data, with the aim of identifying patterns and supporting efficiency in the use of natural resources. This special issue will focus on interactive visualizations for sustainability-related applications, tools, games, and services in the private, public, and industrial sectors.
