An exciting opportunity exists for a talented individual with outstanding research experience in data visualisation to steer the future direction of Immersive Visualisation research at Monash. Applicants should have an outstanding track record in the use of immersive visualisation technologies in scientific or geographic visualisation, virtual or augmented reality, or computer-mediated collaboration. The appointee will have access to visualisation facilities that are among the best in the world including the Monash $1.8M CAVE2 immersive visualisation facility https://monash.edu/mivp This challenging senior position requires someone capable of: leading innovative and transformative Immersive Analytics research initiatives raising the profile of Immersive Visualisation within the University building a strong and cohesive multi-disciplinary group that fosters collaboration supporting the development and teaching of data visualisation in undergraduate and postgraduate Data Science degrees dynamically engaging with industry, government and community organisations, including academic and professional societies. Duration The appointment will be on a continuing basis at a level appropriate to the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
