Seeking Participants for Experiment on Visualization Design
Greetings! The HDI group at the University of Maryland is conducting a study to assess data visualization expertsโ perceptions of visualization design diversity. We are seeking out participants for an 80-minute study (no more than 2 hours). In the session, you will be required to review selected designs and answer questions to evaluate the designs according to predetermined criteria. This is an opportunity to be an active contributor to current and future research in data science and data visualization. We will collect your responses to the questions as well as some personal demographic data. Your participation is completely voluntary, and any data you share with us will be de-identified. If selected, you will be compensated with a $15 gift card for participating in this study. To participate, you must meet the following criteria: 1) Be over the age of 18 2) Have substantial experience using and creating visualizations.
