The Department of Computer Science and Faculty of Science at the University of Calgary is seeking candidates for two tenure-track positions in “Digital Science and Immersive Technologies”, and one in “Fundamental Data Science” (3 positions total). *** Digital Science and Immersive Technologies *** https://careers.ucalgary.ca/jobs/6496559-assistant-professor-digital-science... Candidates must have strong interests in trans-disciplinary research to support the University of Calgary’s Growth through Focus strategic vision, as well as the Faculty of Science 's initiative on Digital Science. The successful candidates will embrace the opportunity to develop future-focused undergraduate and graduate programs, including the expansion and augmentation of on-line delivery and experiential learning activities (e.g., labs and field work). The Faculty of Science is committed to enhancing and accelerating the use of digital technology in our research laboratories and classroom spaces. The successful candidate must demonstrate evidence of a track record of impactful publications in high quality journals and conferences. The successful applicant needs to contribute to the Faculty's innovative teaching and research initiatives, including our highly successful professional graduate programs in Data Science & Analytics.
