As part of this event, we will host a Memorial Event for Michel Westenberg in a separate Zoom breakout room. Michel Westenberg (https://www.tue.nl/en/news-and-events/news-overview/29-04-2021-in-memoriam-d...) passed away at a young age earlier this year. He was a core member of BioVis and an extremely valued colleague who will be dearly missed. The conference registration for BioVis@ISMB is not free this year, but the Social/Memorial Event is open to everyone. Please note that, although the program on the website says 6 pm - 8 pm UTC, the event will be open-ended, so just join us at your convenience. Since the goal of the event is to allow everyone to meet and take part in the discussions, there will be no program.
