Post-doctorate Research Position in Information Visualization
Post-doctorate Research Position in Groupware/Ubiquitous Computing
University of Calgary
Alberta, Canada
 
Professors Saul Greenberg and Sheelagh Carpendale are seeking two bright 
and energetic post-docs to work on research in:

    * *information visualization* (under the supervision of Carpendale)

AND

    * *groupware and ubiquitous / domestic computing* (under the
      supervision of Greenberg)

The candidates will primarily work with their immediate supervisor, but 
will have good opportunities to interact with other faculty members and 
students. The candidates will also have opportunities to propose 
collaborative projects of their own related to the research area.
 
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record that demonstrates high 
quality independent research in either information visualization or 
groupware/ubicomp. Candidates should be willing to commit to a two year 
post-doc.
 
The positions will be located in the Interactions Laboratory, a rich 
community of students, researchers and faculty that specialize in many 
aspects of Human Computer Interaction and Information Visualization. 
Calgary is 45 minutes by car from the Canadian Rockies, a spectacular 
part of the world.
 
These positions are made available through their recent award of an 
iCORE Industrial Chair, sponsored by iCORE and Smart Technologies, Inc.
