*Apologies for cross-posting.* Dear colleagues, We are pleased to share the Call for Workshop Proposals for IEEE VR 2027, the 34th IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces, which will take place February 27–March 3, 2027, in Melbourne, Australia. IEEE VR workshops provide an opportunity to bring together researchers, developers, practitioners, technology providers, and users to explore emerging topics and exchange new ideas in an interactive and informal setting. We particularly welcome workshop formats that go beyond traditional paper presentations and encourage active participation through discussions, panels, breakout sessions, demonstrations, thought experiments, collaborative activities, and other creative formats. Important Dates · *September 28, 2026*: Workshop proposals and Calls for Contributions due · *October 12, 2026*: Notification of results · *January 7, 2027*: Latest workshop paper notification date for papers to be included in the IEEE Digital Library · *January 12, 2027*: Camera-ready deadline for workshop papers to be included in the IEEE Digital Library · *February 27–28, 2027*: Workshops at IEEE VR 2027 All deadlines are 23:59:59 AoE (Anywhere on Earth, UTC-12). Each accepted workshop will be allocated a half-day slot. Workshop submissions should include: · *A workshop proposal of up to 3 pages*, describing the workshop topic, goals, organizers, expected participants, planned format and activities, and other organizational details; and · *A Call for Contributions*, outlining the workshop scope, contribution formats, and submission deadlines. Both documents should be submitted through Precision Conference Solutions (PCS). We welcome proposals across all areas related to virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, 3D user interfaces, immersive technologies, and their applications, and we especially encourage workshops that foster new communities, interdisciplinary exchange, inclusive participation, and lively discussion.
