Dear colleagues, Université Paris-Saclay (France) is offering a 24-month postdoctoral position at INRAE <https://mia-ps.inrae.fr/>, in collaboration with Inria <https://ilda.saclay.inria.fr/index.html>, on data visualization and decision support for sustainable winemaking. The postdoc will focus on user-centered design, prototyping and evaluating innovative visualization and interaction techniques for dynamic, multidimensional data from wine fermentation, with an emphasis on human-AI interaction, ambient visualization and uncertainty visualization. We are looking for a candidate with practical and research experience in data visualization, ideally with a background in interdisciplinary work involving AI or modelling. Dear colleagues, The AIxVR Steering Committee is inviting expressions of interest to host AIxVR 2027. AIxVR has become a premier international conference at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Extended/Virtual Reality, rotating annually between American, European, and Asian time zones. Following this principle, the 2027 edition is expected to take place in or near the American time zone. We are now seeking informal proposals from potential host institutions. At this stage, we ask only for high-level information about the organizers, proposed location and venue, and feasibility of costs. No detailed budget or signed venue contract is required. Rooted in pioneering research on visual interfaces characterized by a distinctive attention to the human factor, the conference has evolved across the different waves of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). It has addressed the pragmatic and hedonic needs of heterogeneous groups of users up to the current challenge of self-actualization. Creativity is a core behavior that leads to the realization of a person’s full potential and the explosion of generative AI presents both opportunities and challenges to human creativity.
