Dear All, If you are a student willing to attend EuroVis 2025 or know someone who would be interested, there are still 9 days left (April 18) before the end of our call for Student Volunteers! Thank you to all of you who already applied, decision notifications will be sent by April 25. Details of the call as below: This year, EuroVis 2025<https://www.eurovis2025.lu/>—Europe’s leading conference on visualization research—will take place in Luxembourg City from June 2-6. Since its inception in 1999 as a symposium, EuroVis has grown into a premier platform for advancing visualization research and applications across Europe and beyond. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with visualization researchers and practitioners across disciplines, exchange ideas, and foster new collaborations. We are looking for motivated Student Volunteers<https://www.eurovis2025.lu/student-volunteers> (SVs) to help with the on-site organization of the conference. In return for about 20h of work, you will receive free access to the entire event—including workshops, talks, meals, and social events—as well as a chance to gain hands-on experience and expand your professional network. Open PostDoc Position in Information Visualization / Visual Analytics at Linnaeus University (LNU), Sweden

*** Apologies for cross-posting *** Come and join us! We are seeking for an engaged and bright PostDoc to work with us in the areas of Information Visualization (InfoVis) and Visual Analytics (VA). The position will be placed in the ISOVIS group (https://cs.lnu.se/isovis/) led by Professor Andreas Kerren, Linnaeus University (https://lnu.se/en) Växjö Campus, Sweden. The postdoc fellow will conduct research at the borderline between the fields of information visualization / visual analytics as well as machine learning in close collaboration with ISOVIS members, other research groups of the department, and domain experts within the Linnaeus University Centre for Data Intensive Sciences and Applications (DISA). Work duties include the whole research cycle, i.e., from literature reviews and the identification of research challenges, throughout the implementation of visualization tools and performing user studies, to the reporting of the results in publications. Thematically, the research interests of the successful candidate can be aligned with the research foci of the group (cf. group web site), but we are especially interested in complementary expertise in the areas of InfoVis/VA and ML. In this context, the postdoc fellow is expected to regularly present intermediate/final research results at international conferences/workshops and publish them in highly-ranked conference proceedings and journals in the areas of information visualization, visual analytics, applied machine learning, but possibly also in the areas of domain experts.
