peer-reviewed by at least three members of the international program
committee.
TRACKS
VINCI 2026 features five tracks:
* Technical Paper Track: Research contributions on algorithms,
techniques, systems, theories, evaluations, and applications -- spanning
information visualization and visual analytics, graph and network
visualization, HCI and multimodal interaction, visualization for AI/ML,
explainable AI, visual metaphors and cognition, computational
aesthetics, visual modeling/programming languages, and applications such
as SoftVis, BioVis, and GeoVis.
* Art Paper Track: Academic research at the intersection of visual
information communication, art, and technology, such as generative AI
and XR media, data storytelling, XAI visualization, bio-signal
visualization, and the ethics and authorship of human-AI co-creation.
* Art Gallery Track: Finished, concept-driven artworks that explore
visual information communication through artistic expression, under the
theme "Futures Unbound: Visualizing Tech, Culture, and Connection in an
AI- and Robot-Driven World".
* Media Gallery Track: Interactive tech demos, prototypes, and
functional media tools (e.g., AR/VR, digital twins, AI co-creation
tools) that advance accessible and ethical information sharing.
* Cultural Computing Special Track (new this year): Visual and
computational techniques for understanding, representing, and
interacting with cultural phenomena, including cultural data analytics,
heritage preservation, cultural storytelling, and immersive (AR/VR/MR)
